Setup Guide - ELT
Prerequisites
To connect Fourth to Weld, you need API credentials provisioned by Fourth.
Step 1 - Gather your API credentials
Before setting up the connector in Weld, collect the following from Fourth:
- Organization ID — provided by Fourth
- Organization Sub Domain — your Fourth sub domain
- Username — the account username used for API access
- Password — the password for the API user account
These credentials are required to authenticate with Fourth's APIs.
Step 2 - Connect to Weld
- In the connector setup form, enter the destination schema name of your choice. This name will be used to identify the connection in future syncs.
- Enter your Organization ID, Organization Sub Domain, Username, and Password.
- Click Connect to validate the credentials and establish the connection.
Step 3 - Select data to sync
- Weld includes tables from both Fourth APIs:
- Employees Fourth API
- Team Hours API
- Select the tables you wish to include in the sync. You can view the schema, remove columns, or hash sensitive information.
Step 4 - Configure sync
- Select how often you would like the data to sync.
- Provide a unique destination table name.
Weld will take over from here and commence syncing data from your Fourth account.
