Overview

Weld simplifies the management of data by automatically handling specific fields. Understanding these fields is essential for optimizing your data workflows and leveraging the full capabilities of Weld.

Managed Fields

  1. _weld_synced: The _weld_synced field captures the synchronization timestamp for each row, ensuring data freshness and traceability.
  2. _weld_deleted_at: Added only to tables with Capture deletes turned on. It records when a full sync found that the source had stopped returning the row, so the row is kept and marked rather than removed. It is null for live rows, and is cleared again if the record reappears at the source — so filter on _weld_deleted_at IS NULL to query only the live records.

Integration with Weld

These managed fields are seamlessly populated to your data warehouse.
