Choose your auth method
Use OAuth (recommended, browser login, no keys) or create an API key in Settings > API Keys.

Add the MCP server to your AI tool
Point your tool at the Weld MCP endpoint. OAuth clients just need the URL; API key clients add an x-api-key header.

For headless or programmatic use. Pass via the x-api-key header. Create keys in Settings > API Keys. Each key is scoped to a specific workspace.
Multi-workspace
If using OAuth with multiple workspaces, append ?account_id=YOUR_ID to the URL. Or connect without it. The server exposes a list_accounts tool to discover your workspaces.
