Set attribution windows when connecting Facebook Ads

You can now customize your Click Window and View Window when setting up Facebook Ads in Weld.

These settings are available in the connector setup flow and allow you to select the attribution windows that Weld will apply to all default reports synced from Facebook Ads.

This update gives you more control over how conversions are attributed in your reporting, without needing to make any changes later in your data models.

How it works

When you connect Facebook Ads in Weld, you’ll now see two new options:

  • Click Window (e.g. 28d_click, 7d_click, 1d_click)
  • View Window (e.g. 1d_view, 7d_view, 28d_view)

Facebook ads update new user

These are applied to default Facebook Ads reports only. If you’re syncing any custom reports, those will not be affected by the attribution settings configured here.

You can update these settings at any time by editing the connector configuration.

A quick refresher on the Facebook Ads connector

Weld’s Facebook Ads connector lets you sync data from your ad accounts directly into your data warehouse. You can bring in key datasets like:

  • Campaigns, ad sets, and ads
  • Ad insights including impressions, clicks, and spend
  • Conversion metrics and attribution breakdowns

The connector also supports syncing multiple ad accounts under the same configuration, making it easy to report across regions or business units.

Example use cases

  • Apply consistent attribution logic across Facebook Ads data
  • Standardize click/view windows to match other tools or reporting logic
  • Analyze performance across campaigns using custom attribution settings
  • Join Facebook Ads data with Shopify or backend data to calculate true ROAS

Available now

You’ll see the Click Window and View Window selectors when setting up a new Facebook Ads connector in Weld. If your connector is already live, you can edit the configuration at any time to update your settings.
