G2's Fall 2026 reports are out, and Weld picked up 28 badges across six categories.

Looking back, this was the quarter Weld became something your agents can work with, not just your team. In July you could create and manage Reverse ETL syncs through our MCP server. Then Weld was listed in Claude's connector directory. And in October we rebuilt Ed, our own agent, on the same tools the MCP server gives everyone else.

The rest of the quarter went into work you only notice when it's missing: capture deletes, plain language explanations when a sync gets quarantined, and an Overview page that flags what needs attention.

The badges are G2's read on how Weld is landing with the people who use it every day. Below is what stood out, what customers told us, and what we've shipped since.

What stands out in this season's G2 badges

Momentum Leader in three categories. ETL Tools, Big Data Integration Platforms and Data Exchange Platforms. G2's Momentum Grid looks at growth: year over year changes in review volume, team size, social following and web presence. Momentum Leaders are the products in the grid's top corner, and Weld sits there in all three.

Weld on G2's Momentum Grid, Fall 2026. The grid plots satisfaction against momentum, and the shaded top right corner marks the Momentum Leaders. Weld sits inside that zone. Weld is a Momentum Leader in three categories: ETL Tools, plus four High Performer badges; Big Data Integration Platforms, plus Fastest Implementation; and Data Exchange Platforms, plus High Performer.

Fastest Implementation in Big Data Integration Platforms. G2 gives this to the product with the shortest go live time in its category. It measures something we care about a lot: how quickly a team gets from sign up to data flowing.

Best Estimated ROI in Reverse ETL, for the value customers get from syncing warehouse data back into the tools their teams work in.

Easiest To Do Business With in Small-Business Data Extraction. It comes from G2's Relationship Index, where reviewers rate how easy a vendor is to work with.

On top of those, Weld is a High Performer in all six categories, across overall, regional and company size reports, and kept its Users Love Us badge.

What customers are saying

Weld is rated 4.8 out of 5 from 110 reviews on G2. We read through the latest ones, and the same few themes came up again and again.

Setup is quick. A CEO at a small company wrote that they got up and running without needing deep knowledge of the platform. Others mention how easy it is to connect sources and set schedules, with documentation that guides them along the way.

It keeps working. A Head of Data put it in a way we could not improve on:

"Weld does what it says it does."

Others mention very little downtime, and data that arrives on a defined schedule.

The price is clear. Reviewers describe the pricing as straightforward and easy to understand. One team replaced a larger ETL tool with Weld on cost, and others write that Weld is better priced than the bigger, more established brands.

Support answers. Reviewers describe the team as quick and never dismissive, and note that changes ship fast.

Models as code. The GitHub integration came up by name. One reviewer called it a feature they value highly, because it makes managing models and pipelines simpler.

What customers asked for, and what we shipped

Reviews are also where people tell us what is missing. Three of this year's requests have since shipped:

  • Clearer reasons when a sync fails. In September, quarantined syncs started explaining what went wrong in plain language, with suggested next steps.
  • Slowly changing dimensions. History Tables, released in June, keep every previous version of a record as an SCD Type 2 table.
  • More context for the AI assistant. In October we rebuilt Ed, Weld's AI agent, on the same tools as the Weld MCP server. It can now search your tables and models, validate its own SQL and run read only queries.

We read every request in every review. Keep them coming.

Everything else we shipped since spring

It has been a busy stretch for the product since our spring update. The highlights, with links to each month's full update:

AI agents. In May we launched the Weld MCP server, so tools like Claude, Cursor and Windsurf can manage connections, syncs, models and orchestrations. By July it covered Reverse ETL too, and Weld is now listed in Claude's connector directory.

Models as code. April brought a REST API for data models and bulk import of SQL and dbt projects. In May the GitHub integration arrived, and in July GitHub sync learned to recover from failures on its own.

More places to send data. Snowflake became a source in June. ClickHouse arrived as a destination in July, Microsoft SQL Server in August, and Apache Iceberg in October, when one sync also became able to load into several destinations at once.

More connectors. Five new sources in each of August, September and October alone, from Zoho CRM and Typeform to Walmart Marketplace, Workday Financial Management and Databricks Unity Catalog.

Data you can trust. History Tables in June, Capture deletes (beta) in September, and a new Overview page in October that shows what needs attention before anyone has to ask.
