New in Weld: Sync e-conomic Dimensions
We’ve just added support for Dimensions in our e-conomic connector. This means you can now sync dimension data directly to your warehouse — giving you better control over how you group and report on your financials.
Whether you use dimensions for departments, projects, cost centers or teams, this update makes it easier to break down financial data the way your business actually works
Why it’s useful
Dimensions let you tag objects (like invoices, journal entries or customers) in e-conomic with context — so you can go beyond the general ledger and analyze performance by the categories that matter most.
With this update, Weld customers can:
- Report on revenue and cost by team, department, or region
- Monitor P&L at the project level
- Join financials with CRM and operations data for a full business overview
- Clean up manual reporting workflows (no more exporting spreadsheets just to filter by project)
How to set it up
Getting started with Dimensions is just like setting up any other stream in Weld:
- In the Weld app, head to Connectors and select economic
- Go to Configure and scroll down to the list of Tables
- Select Dimensions from the list of available streams
- Update sync — and you’re done ✅
Make e-conomic part of your modern data stack
Whether you're managing invoices, tracking accounts, or now — syncing Dimensions — Weld’s e-conomic connector brings your financial data into your data warehouse, where it’s easier to work with, report on, and combine with data from the rest of your business.

It’s fast to set up, supports incremental syncs, and gives you the flexibility to model your financial data however you need.
