Orchestration is what keeps your data in motion, from loading and transforming to syncing insights back to your tools. It’s the invisible glue that helps your entire pipeline run smoothly, in the right order, and on time.

At Weld, orchestration ensures your ELT flows and Reverse ETL syncs are triggered exactly when and how you want. Whether you're updating dashboards daily, syncing marketing metrics hourly, or building multi-step workflows, orchestrations help you keep everything aligned.

What’s new

We’ve made a few important improvements to make orchestrations easier to manage and more collaborative:

  • Rename orchestrations

    Give each orchestration a meaningful name so it’s easier to understand at a glance.

  • Add descriptions

    Include context or notes about what the orchestration does, when it runs, or why it exists, helpful for team collaboration.

  • Enable/disable orchestrations

    Temporarily pause orchestrations without deleting them. Great for testing, maintenance, or controlled launches.

These updates are designed to help data teams stay organized, reduce the risk of triggering syncs by mistake, and better collaborate across users and teams.
