What's new in Weld - September 2025
Hello! 👋
Welcome to the September edition of the Weld Recap, your monthly roundup of the latest product updates, connector improvements, and platform enhancements. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy.
Product updates & improvements
BigQuery Table Expiration Monitoring
Weld now monitors expiration dates on BigQuery tables, datasets, and views. If one’s set by mistake, we’ll remove it and notify you, helping prevent accidental data loss.
Replace Users in Facebook Custom Audiences
You can now fully replace users in a Facebook Custom Audience with a single API call. Easier, cleaner, and always in sync.
Performance improvements
We’ve optimized how subscription data is handled in-app, resulting in a smoother, faster Weld experience.
[Coming soon] Change Data Capture (CDC) for PostgreSQL & MySQL
We’ve started internal testing for CDC support to enable real-time replication of row-level inserts, updates, and deletes. Weld will automatically detect eligible tables and capture change events seamlessly.

Platform & API enhancements
REST API updates
You can now:
- List and delete connections
- List bridges and delete ELT syncs
- Use clearer endpoint names (e.g. enable/disable instead of start/stop)
- Enjoy cleaner, more consistent API documentation
Improved job scheduler
Jobs that are ready to run no longer get abandoned if an integration is busy. This results in higher sync reliability across the board.
Weld Connect: Full API control
Need more control or looking to embed data flows in your product? Weld Connect gives you full programmatic access to your data pipelines, so you can automate workflows and manage syncs at scale.
With Weld’s production-ready REST API, you can:
- Programmatically set up connections and ELT syncs
- Start, stop, and monitor syncs in real time
- Automate operations from your backend
- Embed the Weld flow inside your product, white-labeled as your own
🔐 Secure by default: Bearer token authentication. Explore the docs →
