What's new in Weld - December 2025
Welcome to the December edition of the Weld Recap, a compact guide to our latest product updates, resource highlights, and what’s next on the horizon. Let’s dive in.
🚀 New & Enhanced Connectors
We’ve significantly expanded the depth of data you can extract from your favorite platforms:
Facebook Pages & Ads
- Media Insights: Upgraded to Graph API v24.0, introducing the
post_media_viewmetric. This provides a more detailed breakdown of how users interact with your media compared to legacy impression metrics. - Ad Comments: You can now extract all comments directly from Facebook Ads.
- Granular Breakdowns: Added support for
user_segment_keyin custom reports.
Shopify
- Inventory Tracking: Inventory Levels have been promoted to a standalone stream. This allows for more accurate tracking of "available," "on-hand," and "committed" stock across different locations.
- Enhanced Transactions: Added 13 new fields to transaction schemas to better track taxes and multi-currency settlements.
Apple App Store Connect
- Added two new analytics streams: App Store Engagement and Web Preview Engagement, giving you a clearer picture of your app's conversion funnel.

Google Search Console:
- Added a new Site Selection form for easier configuration and implemented a 3-day lookback window to account for Google’s internal reporting delays, ensuring you never miss a late-arriving data point.

TikTok Shop & Ads:
- TikTok Shop: Expanded schemas for Product Performance and SKU Performance with improved data precision for high-volume stores.
- TikTok Ads: Implemented "chunking" for hourly reports, ensuring that high-volume accounts can sync massive datasets without timeouts.
E-conomic:
- Added dedicated substreams for Invoice Lines (for both booked and draft invoices), allowing for line-item level analysis in your warehouse.
HubSpot:
- Upgraded Marketing Email streams to the latest v3 API to ensure long-term stability as HubSpot sunsets older versions.
⚙️ Performance & Reliability (Core ELT)
We’ve made the "engine" under the hood faster and more resilient:
- Advanced CDC for Databases: Our Change Data Capture (CDC) for MySQL and Postgres is now much easier to set up.
- Added dropdown menus for publication and replication slot names (no more manual typing).
- Unique Index Fallback: If your table lacks a Primary Key, Weld can now use Unique Indexes to track changes.
- On-Demand Backfills: You can now manually trigger a backfill for specific CDC tables directly from the interface.
- Smart Rate Limiting: We’ve implemented dynamic rate-limit monitoring for connectors like Gorgias and database connections. Weld now "feels" the API limits and slows down automatically to prevent failed syncs or account lockouts.
- BigQuery Migration v2: For customers moving data between BigQuery projects, our new migration service includes real-time progress tracking via WebSockets and enhanced error handling for complex schemas.
📊 Usage & Billing Transparency
We’ve added a dedicated Usage section under Workspace settings, giving you detailed breakdowns, better filtering, and monitoring tools.
🛠 Other Fixes & Improvements
- Intercom: Added a retry mechanism that automatically detects and removes "invalid fields" that occasionally cause Intercom's API to crash.
- Google Ads: Improved support for Manager Accounts (MCC) when requesting offline user data.
- OneDrive: Improved error messaging for "403 Forbidden" errors to help users self-diagnose permission issues.
- General: Increased memory limits for background processes to handle increasingly large schema extractions.
✨ Looking ahead
We are excited to expand our connector library in 2026 and you can look forward to many more destinations across modern data warehouses and lakes. This includes ongoing investment in warehouses and lakes such as Amazon Redshift, MotherDuck, OneLake, and ClickHouse, alongside community requested connectors that help teams move faster with less friction.
🛋️ Until next time
That’s all for an awesome last month of 2025! Thanks for following along the whole year, and as always, if you have ideas, questions, or want to see something in Weld, let us know.
