What do you need?
You will only need a handful of things to use Weld:
1) A Destination
Weld supports Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Amazon RedShift, IBM Db2, Firebolt, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server...
A very central part of Weld is to centralize your data in a single place such that analytics can be done in a cost-efficient and scalable manner using all your data. Our destinations are the perfect places to run an analytics powerhouse, and at Weld we support several of the most popular services available.
2) Access to your SaaS tools
We build and maintain data pipelines to your SaaS tools and databases to make it very easy to quickly access your data - but we need permission to read the data from your tools. What kind of authentication is required depends on the tool, but many authentications can be done in a few clicks with an authentication form called Oauth. You can find a Setup guide for each of your SaaS applications in the documentation here.
3) The willingness to use SQL
SQL is at the core of Weld's platform and way of interacting with data. Having even basic SQL skills will significantly increase the value you can extract from your data but, if you don't have the skills yet, we have a SQL course that will quickly allow you to interact with your data. And you can also be helped out by our AI SQL assistant, Ed, which is available on the Weld platform!
